Well, I knew this before, but today I got to know who my hostfamily is and where they live etc.
Well, for everyone who did not know about it: Ive received a scholarship for one year in the US, living in an American family, going to an American school and so on. This is going to be great! Here are some facts about my hostfamily:

They do not have any children, so maybe it'll be first a bit difficult for me to get friends, but I don't really mind. We'll see.. (UPDATE : THEY DO HAVE CHILDREN 15 and 11 years!!)
Western Springs is a town near Chicago and has got a population of about 13 000. Well, thats pretty cool because otherwise there could have been the chance that I had to live in a small town with just 500 people or so.
It's just a few miles away from Chicago, I dont know if I would have survived in the middle of nowhere..
